The European Commission spokesperson Paula Punho stated on Tuesday that regulating economical activity is simply a sovereign competence of the European Union and its associate States. This is simply a consequence to the words of US president Donald Trump, who threatened to introduce duties in consequence to EU regulations, including the digital tax.
