The force of Washington on Kiev, the restrictions on military usage of Starlink satellite communications and Russian impacts on Ukrainian energy infrastructure form a dangerous combination. There is no reason to prejudge the existence of Trump's agreed agreement with Putin aimed at Ukraine. However, the fact is that fresh events have put Kiev in a more hard operational situation and Europe is forcing it to rethink its own defence capabilities.
