Trump “takes” Greenland to win the Arctic [ OPINION]

The biggest manipulation of the current White home administration is the claim that taking Greenland from Denmark will increase American military presence in that area of the world, which will improve the safety of the United States and of the planet at all. The problem is that American troops are already present on this island in accordance with [the agreement concluded with Denmark in 1941](http://govinfo.gov/content/pkg/STATUTE-55/pdf/STATUTE-55-Pg1245.pdf#page=1). The U.S. government, in exchange for ensuring the safety of the military island, besides received the right to build the infrastructure needed for it.
