After gathering Zelenski Trump besides spoke with his European comrades. At 1 point he got into a discussion with Macron, during which unusual words about Vladimir Putin came out. “I think he wants to make a deal. He's doing this for me. Do you understand? As crazy as it would sound," Trump said to the president of France. A minute later, he directed guests to welcome representatives of the media.
Following the Monday summit in Washington, D.C., another tripartite with Trump, Zelensky and Putin. According to the latest reports, the gathering is due in the next 2 weeks.
The preliminary, so far achieved in separate meetings between Trump and Zelenski and Putin, include safety guarantees for Ukraine, akin to Article 5 NATO, with the participation of American soldiers and a contract to acquisition arms for Ukraine of $90 billion, for which European countries would pay. The conditions set out in Alaska Putin include, among others, the surrender of Russia to the full Donbas territory (including Luhansk and Donetsk) and the designation of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.
