Trump on the March for Life: “We will stand arrogant again in defence of families and life”

The March for Life in Washington brought together thousands of life defenders, among them notable politicians. In sending the video to the participants, US president Donald Trump assured that his administration would support the pro-life movement.

He besides pointed out the request to pay attention to the attacks aimed at aid centers for pregnant women and churches, criticizing Joe Biden's administration for double standards.

Trump recalled that as part of his actions he pardoned peaceful life defenders, including Paulette Harlow, a 75-year-old female suffering from many diseases, sentenced to 2 years in prison for blocking entry to an abortion facility in Washington DC. "There will never be a consensus for spiritual persecution in the United States again," the erstwhile president announced.

At the end of his speech, he addressed hard weather conditions in Washington, D.C.: “Your hearts are warm, you are spiritually strong, due to the fact that your origin is right and very clean. Thank you for never losing hope and never giving up," he said, ending his conventional speech "God bless you and God bless America."

Vice president Vance: “I want more happy children in our country”

During the march, Vice president JD Vance besides spoke, who emphasized the individual dimension of life defence. "It is an honor to be here and to talk to life defenders," he said. He besides mentioned his own experience of paternity: “Watching all 3 of our children grow, learn and become who they are present was the top happiness in our lives.”

Vance pointed out that many families and single parents face financial difficulties that hinder their decision to have children. "I want more children in the United States of America. I want more happy children in our country. And I want beautiful young men and women who are willing to welcome and rise them in the world," he said.

He stressed that the task of the government is to make conditions conducive to the establishment of families: “And the task of our government is to make it easier for young mothers and fathers to have children, to give birth and to welcome them as blessings.” Vance besides discussed Trump's plans to support families and defend pro-life activists who engage in peaceful protests and prayers before abortion clinics.

“I want to make it clear that this administration is on your side, we are with you, and most importantly, we are on the side of the most vulnerable”

said the vice president. He stressed that no 1 should be persecuted for exercising the right to peaceful protest in defence of life.

At the end of Vance, he pointed out the importance of an ultrasound image in raising awareness of the value of life: “The human being in the fetal state seen in the ultrasound image is the image of a kid with hopes, dreams and potential.” He enthusiastically added: “It is joy and blessing to fight for the unborn, to work for the unborn and to march for life.”

The March for Life in Washington one more time showed the power of pro-life movement in the United States. The messages of Trump and Vance clearly indicate that the fight for the protection of life and families remains a key component of their administration's policy.
