Foreign Minister Lesotho Leione Mpotjoane said on Wednesday that he was shocked and offended by the words of U.S. president Donald Trump, that "no 1 had always heard of specified a country," and invited him to make a visit.
Trump stated on Tuesday in a State Message that his administration identified "shocking waste" of state funds, among others. "$8 million to advance LGBTQI+ in the African state of Lesotho that no 1 has always heard of".
The Chief of Diplomacy of Lesotho considered this remark to be ‘enforceable enough’.
I am truly shocked that my country could thus be determined by the head of (another) state," he said.
