On January 17, Donald Trump announced the introduction of 10% work on products from 8 European countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom). They are due to enter into force on 1 February, and from 1 June they will increase to 25%, until they are sold to the United States to Greenland. The action of the president of the United States is simply a reaction to the sending of soldiers to the island. Trump pointed out that the request to get it stems from the request to defend Greenland from Russian and Chinese influences as well as from the weakness of Denmark itself.
