The home of Representatives voted on Tuesday for a $1.2 trillion budget adoption package. The package, which was voted by 217:214 votes, provides, among others, an yearly budget for the Pentagon, which amounts to $838.7 billion (the fiscal year in the US lasts until 30 September, until now, a budget commission has been applied). The budget bill provides for, among others, $400 million to acquisition military equipment for Ukraine, as well as $200 million to support the defence of the Baltic States. Nearly $50 million is expected to go to the United States European Command (EUCOM).
