In consequence to an article that appeared in the “Wall Street Journal”, U.S. president Donald Trump sued for defamation by the publisher. The politician demands, among others, a $10 billion compensation.

The article by Khadeeji Safdar and Joe Palazzolo concerns a sex letter. It was to be signed by the president of the United States and attached to the album on Jeffrey Epstein's birthday, a deceased financier convicted of sexual crimes.

Donald Trump categorically contradicts WSJ reports, and his lawyer accused the publisher of violating ethics and journalism standards. In turn, CNN tv rated Trump's speech on the legal way as an “extraordinary escalation”.
