"I did not impose sanctions on Russia due to the fact that I think there is simply a chance to do something" - stated president Donald Trump on Monday. He stressed that he was inactive counting on the end of the war, although, as he pointed out, it was a conflict that should stay a substance of Europe and the United States should not have interfered with it.
