U.S. president Donald Trump confirmed reports of a trade agreement concluded with Britain, calling it “complete and comprehensive”.

The fresh York Times reported the day before, citing sources that US president Donald Trump is to announce on Thursday that the United States will enter into a trade agreement with Britain.

"The agreement with Britain is complete and comprehensive and will cement relations between the United States of America and Britain" – Trump wrote on his community portal Truth.

The American president added that "many another agreements" are at a serious phase of discussion.

In the context of the agreement with Britain Trump besides announced a Thursday press conference in the White House.

U.S. president Donald Trump signed an implementing regulation imposing "mutual" customs duties on imports from another countries on April 2. Their base rate is 10 percent. And for 57 countries, since 9 April, there were increased rates, which were calculated on the basis of the United States trade deficit with a given country – so that alternatively of the deficit there was a balance. However, on 9 April Trump announced that more than 75 countries had not taken retaliatory action and asked for negotiations, so for 90 days the basic import duties of 10% will apply for all but China.
