Violence can occur
The regulation signed by Donald Trump on 20 January, on the first day of his office, provided for the designation of only 2 biological sexes – male and female – and ordered transgender women to execute punishment in male prisons. According to this document, backing for medical care related to the confirmation of the sex of prisoners was besides suspended.
However, the paper raised opposition to any environments that yet had their finals in court. The complainant pointed out that the transfer of transgender women to male prisons could consequence in their vulnerability to violence, which would constitute a "cruel and extraordinary punishment" and violate their constitutional rights.

Lambert's warrant concerns all 16 transgender women presently held in national women's prisons. This is simply a step further than the earlier decision of the Boston national justice of January 26, which prevented prison officers from transferring 1 transgender female to a male prison.
Currently, more than 2.2 000 transgender prisoners are estimated to be in American national prisons, of which about 2 thirds are identified as transsexual women. Most of these people are in male prisons.
