Iga Christmas won the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati for the first time in her career. In the final, she defeated Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini 7:5, 6:4.

The Cincinnati final was the sixth duel in the career of both players, and Christmas remained undefeated. The match lasted 1 hr and 50 minutes. Raszynianka initially lost 0:3, but then reversed the score, winning 5 gems in a row. Paolini leveled it at 5:5, but Polka broke it for the 3rd time and finished the first batch.
