In September, the soldiers of Command 2 of the Polish Corps – Command of the Land Component (D2KP-DKL) will take part in the staff training of SZWOLESER-25.2. This will be the next phase of preparation for a computer-assisted command-and-stack exercise, which will verify the ability to execute tasks as intended.
Staff training is the preparation of D2KP-DKL structures to operate in real danger conditions. Soldiers will practice the operation of the command post, as well as air-land cooperation, which is very crucial given that modern defensive actions require close coordination of different types of troops.
During the exercise, the interaction of many combat systems from command and reconnaissance through engineering support, defence against weapons of mass destruction, anti-aircraft defense, to logistical and medical safety will be checked.
Staff training of SZWOLESZER-25.2 is to confirm the preparation for real action under threat conditions and the appropriateness of the adopted solutions for air-land coordination. It should be remembered that continuous improvement of procedures and expanding the level of interoperability with NATO allies is 1 of the priorities. This kind of training builds a real capacity to defend our territory, taking into account NATO support.
Command 2 of the Polish Corps-Command of the Land Component is designed to carry out tasks related to planning of usage and command of modern tactical unions designed for advanced strength operations, separated for land operations in a multi-domain environment during crisis and war in the national and allied system.
2 The Polish Corps has the ability to conduct long-term designation and precise demolition utilizing modern command systems. An crucial feature is interoperability and full compatibility with the V American Corps and the Multinational North East Corps.
