The Minister of Infrastructure has signed an amendment to the regulation on moving railway traffic. According to him, train drivers will not gotta give sound signals before part of the rail crossings.

According to the fresh regulation, drivers will no longer gotta supply Rp1 sound signals "Attention" before crossings before rail and road crossings on which the hornets or sound and light signals are located. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Minister Dariusz Klimczak signed a regulation on 15 April and it will apply 14 days after publication in the authoritative diary of the Laws.

The Ministry stressed that the amendment of the rules was the effect, among others, of many appeals surviving close the crossings, complaining of loud sound signals. According to the Ministry, erstwhile fresh regulations enter into force, for example, on the 470 km Warsaw-Poznań-Border way with Germany, the number of Rp1 signals required to be given before crossing will fall from 139 to just nine.
