A tragic railway disaster occurred in the territory of Rożnawa in the east part of Slovakia. 2 rush trains collided at the intersection.
About 100 passengers were injured as a consequence of the accident and 2 people are in critical condition. According to information provided by the press, drivers of both trains managed to jump out of the cabins before the collision.

Slovak Minister of Interior Szutaj Esztok reported that the origin of the tragic accident was most likely a human origin – forcing precedence by 1 of the drivers.
