On the night of Thursday to Friday, a tragedy occurred in the practice square, which resulted in the death of a Polish soldier.
As General Command of Types of Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland stated, a tragic event occurred in Załuski close Nidzica. During night classes, 1 of the soldiers fell over KTO Rosomak. The vehicle was harmlessly injured by another individual who was taken to the hospital.
“At night, around 24.00 a.m. at the practice area in Załuski close Nidzica, during the night-time adaptation drive, the KTO Rosomak was knocked over. As a consequence of the event during the program classes, a soldier of the 16th Mechanized Division was killed. A second soldier, who is in the hospital, was somewhat injured, and his life is not in danger,” says General Command of Armed Forces on platform X.

Condolences to the household of the deceased soldier were made by the head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish.
