In 1993, the Baltic waters absorbed the Jan Hewelius ferry. This was the biggest catastrophe of the Polish civilian fleet. To this day, her reasons have not been explained. In 2002 – 9 years after this tragedy – as a young reporter I took part in a diving expedition to the wreckage.
