Ladies and gentlemen,
Fighting for a good, safe and unidentified education is not just a theory.
New changes implemented by the Ministry of Education affect Polish schools in a very applicable way:
- introduction of compulsory wellness education;
- a crucial simplification in the list of mandatory readings;
- reducing national and Christian accents in past for a transnational perspective;
- attempt to reduce the educational mission of the school by removing spiritual and ethical lessons;
- Depletion of content from geography and biology.
This is only a list of the most serious programme changes made by Minister Nowacka. In addition, there are changes associated with the transfer of values.
Schools present are under force to conduct educational experiments on their subjects, which aim to teach them “inclusiveness”. Ideology increasingly governs school reality, destroying an environment that should give students the chance to make harmoniously, build identity, form a strong character and learn to establish healthy relationships with peers.
We know that this direction of improvement is very worrying for many parents and educators. Unfortunately, their voice is consistently ignored and attempts at constructive dialog are rejected by the Minister.
Therefore, for respective years now we have been responding to these worrying trends in a constructive way – giving schools an alternate in the form of education to value and we support institutions in shaping healthy attitudes in students, by promoting marriage, household and dignity of life.
It was for this intent 2 years ago that we restarted the household Friendly School Partnership Program – I'll tell you briefly how it works.
The main component of the program is simply a teaching offer prepared for schools. all month, we make available our work cards and ready-to-use scenarios — thematically differentiated and tailored to the different educational stages. In addition, we supply publications on the protection of life and strengthening the identity of the household that teachers, parents, and students can use.
During these 2 years, we have prepared and distributed more than 80 outlines of classes, ready for immediate usage by teachers and educators! The full list of topics can be found on the program website.
A crucial part of our activities are besides school trips. We conduct lectures and presentations for students, parents and educational staff.
Only in fresh weeks have we travelled over 5,000 km traveling between our office in Warsaw and towns specified as Suwałki, Międzyrzec Podlaski and Janowiec in Podkarpacie.
The scope of issues addressed is wide: from supporting the household and affirming the dignity of life, through the applicable dimension of pro-life initiatives, analysing the risks of sex mainstreaming and cultural revolutions, to very concrete guidelines on character improvement in a planet dominated by fresh technologies and the increasing threat of digital media dependence.
But our meetings are besides an chance to discuss completely different subjects. By education, I am an engineer in vehicle mechanics and working machines. That's why in 1 of the last meetings, aside from the content mentioned above, I could tell the kids how the car engine works. Believe me, they were truly curious!
These trips are a long time on the way, but not lost. In addition to valuable meetings with young people, it is besides a unique chance to strengthen our cooperation with schools – individual contact and many inspiring conversations with teachers, educators or directors.

Our support under the Friendly School Programme household truly relieves school burden in key areas: we offer expert advice on value transfercarefully developed forming materials and checked Educational aidsand we aid the facilities effectively defy ideological pressure. For many directors and teachers, specified circumstantial facilities become a condition for quiet, consistent educational work, especially present erstwhile akin assistance is hard to number on from the Ministry of Education.
We want to respond to the real needs of each school and not refuse aid due to deficiency of resources or distance.
However, monthly coordination of the programme is simply a major organisational and financial undertaking. Our absolute precedence is to make these events free of charge to schools. Therefore, all the costs associated with their implementation (logistics, speakers' salary) are taken on, so that no institution gives up support for budgetary reasons. Participation in the program cannot be a privilege reserved for better funded schools!
Another crucial item in the programme budget is the continuous production of fresh content: the preparation of work cards, the improvement of further work scenarios covering fresh thematic areas and the substantive work of experts on their verification and updating. All so that schools receive quality materials ready to usage during classes.
In summary: cost of administration of the Friendly School household is presently over PLN 5000 per month. In order for the program to make – this amount must increase.

In a moment, students and teachers are waiting for a well-deserved vacation. But erstwhile we all enjoy a minute of remainder after a year's work, the fight for the form of programs and teaching practice will be decided in the next school year.
Our position is clear: The school is to be a place of harmonious development, ripening to full humanity and building foundations for a healthy and happy future, not a laboratory of social experiments.
It depends on the courage and determination of parents, grandparents, teachers, and directors whether the language of fact about man will inactive be heard in the classrooms, or whether it will be replaced by the discussion of basic concepts.
We, on the another hand, will proceed to support schools, defend their educational function and consistently argue actions that hit the household and the mature identity of young people.
The stakes are what our children will become erstwhile they leave the school walls.
