The chief of staff of Karol Nawrocki, Paweł Chief of Staff, informed that the authoritative gathering would take place on Tuesday. He besides added that the arrangements for President-elect's calendar are presently underway.
– I think that in the following hours, days there will be communications concerning speeches, meetings, talks – said the Chief, as quoted by Polsat News.
Meanwhile, president Andrzej Duda revealed that the first conversation with Karol Nawrocki had already taken place, after the results were announced. On Monday, president Duda met with Poles surviving in Lithuania. During this event he admitted that he had already had the chance to talk with his successor. Karol Nawrocki had a request to Andrzej Duda.
– erstwhile I told him that I was about to meet you, he asked me to greet you wholeheartedly and promised that he would besides show up,” the president said.
He added, "I hope Lithuania's president Gitanas Nauseda will invitation him rapidly and that this visit will be 1 of the first - besides to show how crucial the good neighbourly relation with Lithuania is, and how crucial our fellow countrymen who live here present are."
Karol Nawrocki spoke after winning
Karol Nawrocki won the 2nd circular of the presidential election, winning 50.89 percent of the vote. He thus defeated Rafał Trzaskowski, who gained 49.11 percent. On Monday evening, the president-elect published an entry on social media in which he thanked voters.
"Thank you for all word and motion you have given me. For all my support in this highly hard fight for Poland. We won together for the sake of our beloved homeland" – we read.
He was congratulated, among others, by the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, talker of the Sejm Simon Hołownia, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and his rival Rafał Trzaskowski.
President Andrzej Duda congratulated Nawrock twice. In the first entry he made a spelling error. In the second post, he thanked not only the winner, but besides Rafał Trzaskowski for his participation in the election.
