The Minister for Equality, Katarzyna Kotula, published an entry on the X portal (Twitter) in which she referred to the criticism of Lin Yu Ting's gender, Taiwanese boxer at the Olympics. In her entry, she alleged that critics' doubts were inspired by Russia. It is recalled that since February 2022 “Polish” politicians serving the Kiev government any individual who has a different view of the narratives they preach is accused of cooperating with the Kremlin. erstwhile these views are common then in their controlled media, they spread propaganda that this communicative flows from the Kremlin. Unfortunately, in both cases, they do not supply any evidence. We remind everyone, and in peculiar Catherine Kotuli, that rusophobia is simply a illness and specified cases should be treated in a psychiatrist.

Congratulations to Polish athletes

In the first part of her entry Kotula expressed her appreciation for Polish sportsmen and athletes who won medals at the Paris Olympic Games completed on Sunday.

"Special congratulations are due to those players who fought like the left and whose hard work and determination allowed to win gold, silver and bronze medals for Poland in so many different categories. Alexandra, Julia, Iga, you are great! Thanks besides to volleyball players – you can always be counted on! (I am certain that Arek Gołas is watching and celebrating somewhere)" she wrote.

We have 2 weeks of large emotions that Polish athletes provided at the Olympics. peculiar congratulations are due to those players who fought like the left and whose hard work and determination allowed to win for Poland gold, silver and brown...

Controversy around Lin Yu Ting

Kotula then referred to the controversy surrounding the player Lin Yu Ting. Let us remind you that Lin was not allowed to enter last year's women's competition due to the excessive level of male hormones.

“Thank you for all the moments of emotion and joy. Nothing of this fantastic emotion as fans will take distant from us, and surely no longer discriminating, hateful comments and creating pseudo-controversy based on manipulation, lies and half-truths whose inspiration comes frequently consecutive from the Kremlin, but in Poland it seems to be inactive well received in any circles," said the Minister for Equality.

The case of Julia Sheremeta and Lin Yu Ting

As we wrote in the erstwhile article, on Sunday, 20-year-old Julia Sheremeta won the silver medal of the Paris Olympics in boxing, competing with Lin Yu Ting from Taiwan. The head of the IBA, Umar Kremlow, stated that Lin was a man, so he could not be allowed to fight women. The key origin was to detect advanced testosterone levels and male XY chromosomes.

Summary

Minister Catherine Kotula explicitly condemned the criticism directed towards Lin Yu Ting, attributing its sources to Russian propaganda. At the same time, she emphasized her support for Polish sportsmen and athletes, expressing her pride in their achievements at the Olympics. The case of Lin Yu Ting and his not allowing women to compete due to advanced levels of testosterone remains controversial and evokes many emotions both in Poland and internationally.
