The planet does not turn a blind eye to unaccounted for crimes, although it is not always in the interests of those who committed them. Poland could (and wanted to – in the erstwhile word of the government) join the global trend of effective demands for the return of stolen cultural assets or payment of compensation for crimes committed, but the pro-German policy of the current cabinet is alternatively in line with the German narrative, which was heard one more time during the last visit of the president of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Athens. And what kind of communicative is that? Germany was besides a victim of Nazi crimes. Really!
