Time magazine uIt featured on its cover a image of Pope Francis, who died on Monday, highlighting on the social portal Xthat the "reformistly-oriented" Pope introduced a number of innovations.
A black and white photograph for the cover, selected and published by the magazine on social network X, depicts Pope Francis. It besides shows the years of the Pope's life: “1936-2025”.
"Pope Francis, a reformist leader of the Roman Catholic Church, whose pontificate marked a series of innovations, died at the age of 88", added the Communication.
The release will go on sale on May 12.
Pope Francis died Monday morning at the age of 88. On February 14, he went to the Roman Gemella Clinic to examine and proceed the treatment of bronchitis. Later studies revealed the onset of bilateral pneumonia. While in the hospital, the Pope underwent 4 respiratory crises. According to doctors moving his life, he was twice at risk.
On March 20, Pope Francis was discharged from the infirmary after 5 weeks of treatment for pneumonia. He was prescribed long-term therapy and a two-month remainder period.
Leading Italian media reported that the probable origin of Francis' death was a stroke.
