Ticktock on government bans: "We are not subject to Chinese law"

"There is no open case of TikTok's transmission of data to the Chinese government," says Piotr Żaczko, Head of Communications for TikTok in the Central and east Europe region. As he adds, neither the platform nor the parent company – ByteDance – are owned by Your Centre. Therefore, as he claims, they are not subject to the law there.
