The head of the Hungarian government referred to the election results on Monday. In his entry on the X platform, he wrote:
"What an emotion to the very end! Congratulations to president Karol Nawrocki on his fantastic triumph in the presidential elections in Poland. We look forward to working together to strengthen cooperation within the Visegrad Group".
He besides added in Polish: "Good luck, Mr President!". Orban besides posted a Facebook post: "Great Polish win, large cooperation win in Visegrad! Congratulations to Karol Nawrocki on winning the presidential election in Poland".
Let us remind you that Viktor Orban, just before the second round, supported a candidate supported by the Law and Justice.
– Long live Nawrocki – said during the Conference of Conservative Political Action (CPAC), held in Budapest. This is 1 of the most crucial events for conservative environments, mainly from the United States.
Reactions to Karol Nawrocki's Win
The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, besides congratulated the Nawrock victory. In her entry on Platform X, she stressed the importance of Poland's relation with the European Union and the community of values that combines them:
"Congratulations to Karol Nawrocki. I am convinced that the European Union will proceed to cooperate very well with Poland". The EC Head continued: "We are stronger together as a community of peace, democracy and common values. Therefore, let us work together for the safety and well-being of our common home."
Nawrocki's triumph was besides commented by President-in-Office Andrzej Duda, who referred twice to the election results. In the first entry he made a spelling error. In the second, he not only congratulated Karol Nawrock, but besides thanked Rafał Trzaskowski.
"Mr President-Elect Dr. Charles Nawrock one more time congratulates on the election victory. It was a difficult, sometimes painful but highly courageous fight for Poland, about how matters of our Homeland should be conducted" - said Duda on the X service.
He added: "I besides thank all Candidates in these elections, in peculiar Mr Rafał Trzaskowski. Thank you for your determination to fight for the presidency. Thank you for your willingness to take work for Poland.".
