The Armed Forces Agency present concluded a contract with WB Electronics SA for the acquisition of a 1000 sets of ammunition circulating Warmate, or about 10,000 impact drones. The military will receive them periodically, so that the army will receive the latest versions of these unmanned workers.
Framework agreement on transportation of 1000 sets to the Polish Army circulating Warmate ammunition signed president of WB Electronics Piotr Wojciechowski and Deputy Head of the Armed Forces Agency Colonel Piotr Paluch. Today's contract will proceed until the end of 2035. Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamish announced that executive contracts for the procurement would be signed periodically so that the military could buy the latest version of the Warmate. “It is very crucial for us that we have the best equipment and well-trained staff who will be able to operate it”, he noted.
The defence minister besides added that Warmate’s proved their worth during the war in Ukraine. And experience from the front to the east shows that drones revolutionized action in the modern battlefield. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that the Polish army does not lag behind these changes, but is even among the leaders. – We train in all units to operate drones, drone pilots. The infrastructure is being prepared, the polygons that will be utilized to exercise," said the head of the MON. The Minister of National Defence besides spoke of plans for the creation of the “Dron Legion” like a cyberlegion.
