Divers were removing abandoned fishing nets from a shipwreck in the Strait of Sicily erstwhile they unexpectedly saw a large white shark. 1 of the participants of the expedition managed to evidence the shark underwater. According to experts, this may be the first video in which an adult of this species can be seen in its natural habitat in the Mediterranean Sea.
