The government is considering major changes in public finances. He's looking at the benefit of 800 plus. possibly in the future, it will be a benefit only for working parents who pay taxes.
The flagship program PIS - 800 plus was intended to increase fertility in Poland. But that did not happen. According to CSO data, in 2024 only 252,000 children were born in Poland, which is at least 200 years. And 800 plus is the most costly social program. It absorbs PLN 63 billion from the state budget. - "In fresh years, economists, supported by experts in demography, have joined the programme as critics. A fewer months ago, during the celebration of the 130th anniversary of the People's Movement in Rzeszów, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said that 800 plus should not go into the pocket of all parent without exception. "Keep social support for those who request it, but 800 plus only for the workers". From there, funds will should be taken to balance over 90 billion PLN failure in the state budget from the current impact on the planned liquidation of the PIT.
