The connection of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to the European energy network is groundbreaking, said president Andrzej Duda. He added that these countries, together with Poland, will constitute a full within the EU, ensuring energy safety and sovereignty. The Baltic countries were the last in the EU not to be connected to the transmission strategy of continental Europe CESA and operated within the framework of energy cooperation utilizing post-Soviet infrastructure.
