On Saturday, January 3, United States troops and peculiar forces launched an attack on Venezuela. president Nicholas Maduro and his wife were kidnapped from the country's capital, Caracas. The couple are presently in custody in fresh York Brooklyn, where they are awaiting trial for drug trafficking and terrorism. Donald Trump seeks to change the strategy in Venezuela, while his Secretary of State Marco Rubio announces that another U.S. military mark could become Cuba. "I don't think it's a large secret that we're not large fans of the Cuban regime," Rubio stated.

After the attack on Venezuela and the successful capture of president Nicholas Maduro and his wife by Delta Force commandos, the United States government turns to another dictatorship “to be shot down”. According to the Secretary of State in Donald Trump's administration, another operation could be carried out in Cuba – an island where socialism has prevailed for decades.

"I think they are [a government in Cuba—ed.] in large trouble... I will not tell you what our steps will be in the future and what our policy is right now. But I don't think it's a large mystery that we're not large fans of the Cuban regime," said Rubio in the program "Meet the Press" NBC, quoted by PAP.

Trump: Cuba is now a failing country... and we want to aid these people...

For Rubio – as a boy of Cuban immigrants – the Cuba case may even have a individual dimension. In his opinion, the government in Havana should be ‘at least concerned’. Rubio's announcements are consistent with Trump's earlier words, which stated that the U.S. wanted to “help the people” of the island.

"I think Cuba will be the subject we will be talking about, due to the fact that Cuba is now a failing country, and we want to aid these people. It is very akin (to Venezuela) in the sense that we want to aid people in Cuba, but we besides want to aid people who have been forced to leave Cuba and live in that country," said the president of the United States.

Prior to that, Trump besides warned the president of Colombia, who, as he stated, should “take care of his butt”. Previously, the leader estimated that this country is simply a ‘coke factory’ that goes to the US.
