This could be a real revolution. The Polish government proposes a time-changing plan for the EU

The talks about abolishing the change of time have returned, thanks to Poland. The latest reports show that representatives of the Polish government have come forward and proposed a concrete plan on the European stage. It is to cover a period of 2 years.


There's another shift from summertime to winter. On the last weekend of October (night from 25 to 26) we will reverse the clock's instructions by 1 hour. And in March, we'll be back in summertime time again.

It turns out that these constant changes have sparked a re-controversy at EU salons. Poland was expected to be the initiator of these talks. "The Ministry of improvement and Technology has presented a concept aimed at unlocking talks about a directive on departure from changes in time", confirmed the Ministry of the diary "Fact".

Polish representatives proposed a two-year pilot period. At this time, all EU associate States would take summertime time.

"A review after a two-year implementation period would let EU associate States to consider continuing permanent summertime time or moving to permanent winter time (effectively remaining at standard time throughout the year) or, as a last resort, returning to the current clock change strategy twice a year if neither of the 2 permanent solutions proved to be a satisfactory long-term solution" was added.

The proposal was to be welcomed by the European Commission. However, any associate States believe that it is essential to analyse the effects of specified a change before taking specified a decision.
