In national policy, another, saddening fact proves that Poland is not independent. Despite various demonstrations by the governing Law and Justice, which are to prove something else, these facts humiliate both the governing Law and Poland as a state.
A fewer weeks ago I wrote that I was waiting for an apology from the Ukrainians for the rocket attack on Poland. After all, I hoped that the Ukrainians would apologize. I besides hoped that they would apologize due to the hard position of the Polish side. The Ukrainians did not apologize and, in my opinion, will not apologize unless, as an apology, they considered the appointment of an overt flagman, de facto mocking the genocide of UPA in Poles, as the deputy minister of abroad affairs of Ukraine. It's like the bad guy came into the house, beat the host, then denied everything, and to prove what contempt he has for this host, alternatively of apologizing and repairing the harm, his lawyer made a bully who publically and unpunishedly mocks that host. And what does this laziness host say? The host's reaction is curiosistic and disgraceful to the remainder of his household. Well, the host wriggles, makes incredible fusses, just so he doesn't accuse the bad guy and tell the truth, although the limo under his eye leaves no uncertainty as to what the facts look like. So much for the "hard position" of the PiS government. Moreover, the host seems to know who broke into his flat and broke his mouth, but is afraid to say it publically and only the unequivocal position of the owner of the full building forces him – with force on him – to admit that it was the bad guy who broke in and conquered the eye.
By the way, the level of humiliation and even debased the government of the Law and Justice, but besides opposition from the PO through the Left and the PSL, towards the ruling Ukraine seems to have surpassed the lowliness and service of the Communists, against the ruling russian Union during the darkest period of Stalinism. Already telling the fact to the public only after the Americans clearly stated that it was the Ukrainian rocket that struck the Polish territory, it was alive that it resembles hypocrisy, fear and lie to the authorities of the Polish People's Republic about the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. I remember it well, as the propaganda of Wojciech Jaruzelski's crew tried to silence the threat of an detonation at the atomic power station until the russian government wanted or had to confirm that there was a terrible catastrophe.
The death of 2 Poles after the Ukrainian attack, the shoe and arrogance of Ukrainian authorities and the serviceable availability of the written president and government towards the US, painfully show that the independent Polish state is an illusion.
The policy of an independent state is based, among another things, on allowing different options of alliances, agreements and trying to safe national interests without burning bridges anywhere and not being drawn into situations that may not succeed. A non-independence state is based on an "alternative alliance" with a state that determines the absence of that independence.
The current situation of Poland is increasingly akin to the situation of the falling Republic of the second half of the 18th century. At the time, abroad powers had their parties in Poland, and these parties pursued interior policies by means of intervention of abroad powers, which the second readily used, gradually depriving Poland of independence. present we have the PiS based on its policy of an "alternative alliance" with the US and an opposition political camp, centered around the Civic Platform, for which the "alternative ally" is the European Union, or de facto Germany. What unites both political forces is accusing ourselves of Russian agenthood, which is as pathetic as being ridiculous, and completely serilism towards Ukraine. After all, Deputy Minister of Law and Justice said that "we are servants of the Ukrainian people", and late Jerzy Borovczak, legend of "Solidarity" and crucial PO policies, in 1 discussion after the Ukrainian rocket attack, said that "we will give everything we have, Ukraine". And some, and others, if they could, would have dragged Poland into the war in Ukraine, but luckily for Poles, it stops their position of both the USA and Germany. Let me just add that paradoxically this is another proof that Poland is not independent.
Perhaps the geopolitical strategy in which Poland is located is changing. For 2 100 years Poland has strengthened its position if Germany and Russia were in conflict. There are now many indications that Germany and Russia are in real conflict, but one more time paradoxically Poland gains nothing from it and loses it, due to the fact that the main political forces have become active in "alternative alliances" which deprive the political field of manoeuvre. alternatively of winning what can be won in the German-Russian conflict – with the awareness that the Germans and Russians will come to an agreement sooner than later – Poland, through the policy of the mostly ruling Law and Justice, is profoundly divided with both Germany and Russia. And how can you not be so stupid?
The situation in Central and east Europe, formed after the dissolution of the russian Union, is likely to change irreversibly. This was not noticed much further, but this year it was as if the death of 3 people who were co-authors of this order, who survived 30 years. This year, erstwhile president of the ultimate Council of Belarus Stanisław Szuszkiewicz, erstwhile president of Ukraine Leonid Krawczuk and last first secretary of the Communist organization of the russian Union Michał Gorbachev. The 4th key figure of those events, Boris Jelcin, had died earlier. The political order, which was created in 1991 on the basis of an agreement between Jelcine, Krawczuk and Szuszkiewicz, ends. This agreement ended Gorbachev's political role. It was an chance for Poland, but Poland could not usage it. presently Poland is clearly losing at the end of what created this agreement. Furthermore, at all political breakthrough, those who have a clear imagination of their interests have the means and the will to accomplish them, and they do not gotta ask for approval erstwhile implementing their policies, although it is known that the stronger think that they are always to be counted on. Unfortunately, Poland is now further distant from fulfilling its national interests than always in the last 30 years.
