"They'll gotta pay out of their own pocket." Żurek after the TEU judgment

Those who wear judge's robes, knowing that they are not a court and for them Poland pays compensation, will gotta pay for them out of their own pocket - said Minister of Justice Waldemar Żurek on Thursday. He referred to the judgement of the Court of Justice of the European Union, which obliges EU national courts not to recognise the judgments of higher courts of instances if they are not independent and impartial.
