Russia sends large amounts of military equipment to Africa, including tanks, artillery and radio-electronic combat equipment. They go to the African Corps – a formation set up by the Russian Ministry of Defence to replace or absorb Wagner Group mercenaries. Experts consider this as a "serious change" and a clear signal that Kremlin's ambitions go far beyond east Europe.
