On Saturday, October 26, 2024, the 48th military oath was held before the Podkarpackie Provincial Office in Rzeszów in the past of the 3rd Podkarpackie Territorial Defence Brigade of Colonel Łukasz Ciepliński, ps. “Plug”. More volunteers will join the battalions in Rzeszów, Nisk, Dębica, Tarnobrzeg and Sanoku. The last basic and compensatory training this year in 3 PBOT will begin on 29 November 2024.
The solemn military oath of the Podkarpackie territorials was the final phase of basic training which began on 11 October 2024. During the alleged 16th year, volunteers from Podkarpacie trained on the most crucial issues, including safe and effective usage of the MSBS Grot rifle, tactics, topography, medical assistance in the field of combat, as well as drills and regulations.
A letter to the soldiers was sent by the Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz:
– As you join the Army of Territorial Defense, you strengthen our Armed Forces. You contribute to building the strength and effectiveness of the formation, which, in an highly crucial – local dimension, ensures the safety of Poland – wrote the head of the MON.
The vow was taken by Colonel Michał Małyska, Commander of the 3rd Subcarpathian Territorial Defence Brigade of Colonel Łukasz Ciepliński, ps. "Plug", thanking the soldiers for their attitude, stressed that the military oath was primarily a symbol of devotion, courage and responsibility, which accompanies the service to our nation.
– present you become part of a wonderful tradition that has its roots in the past of our nation. Speaking of the past, it is worth remembering the dedication and the heroism that accompanied our ancestors in hard moments of history. Their courage and determination are a model for all of us, and they should inspire you in the upcoming challenges," said Colonel Michał Małyska, commander of the 3rd Podkarpackie Territorial Defence Brigade.
Sixteen is an introduction to further military training and training of skills needed in everyday life, work or science. First of all, it is the ability to manage time, cooperate in a team, communicate easy and precisely, usage information, or exercise with physical fitness.
Prior to the ceremonial military oath, the main examination topped the alleged "sixth" took place during which volunteers from Podkarpacie had to execute certain tasks, among others: to wear a gas mask, to decision in the field utilizing busola, to burden the magazine on time, or to supply medical assistance to the victim on the battlefield. In this way, they were summed up during training basic skills, and the culmination of the hardships was a ceremonial military oath.
The recently appointed soldiers will proceed to service in the subdivisions located in Rzeszów, Low, Dębica, Tarnobrzeg and Sanoku.
