Ladies and gentlemen,
At the end of March, we informed about the ultimate Administrative Court's judgment, which ordered the capital civilian state office to transcribe abroad acts of "marriage" of same-sex persons.
The accidents continued at an awesome pace.
Two days ago, on 28 April, a conviction was passed, which may prove to be 1 of the most crucial moments for the future of the institution of matrimony in Poland.
The Provincial Administrative Court in Lublin ordered the entry of 2 women included in the Polish civilian position books of the act of "marriage" in Portugal, repealing erstwhile refusals of officials. Although the ruling is not yet final, it is already very emotional – for the first time the court in Poland has opened the way to the designation of abroad “single-sex marriages”.
What is peculiarly disturbing, the court, referring to the case law of the Court of Justice of the EU and the ultimate Administrative Court, pointed to the work to recognise specified unions in another EU countries. If this direction continues, we may have a precedent that will in practice change the knowing of matrimony in Poland – not by decision of the public or legislature, but by subsequent court sentences.
So it happened precisely what we warned against: the rulers, bypassing the average legislative path, effort to introduce “single-sex marriages” into Polish government at all costs.
Now this is our fresh “equal” everyday life!
And Polish officials even outrun themselves in revolutionary ignition!
Their subsequent decisions are a simple way to the complete demolition of the institution of matrimony in Poland.
Therefore, I would like to ask you to aid us publicise this unpopular fact today: matrimony is simply a union of a female and a man, and the Polish state is obliged to defend it, due to the fact that only real, permanent marriages are the unchangeable foundation of the nation.
The Poles must hear this fact today!
I mentioned the next steps of the officials – and for a reason. shortly after the NSA judgment, the next decision was made.
ZUS announced that "single-sex marriages" with transcription in the USC will be entitled to benefits equal to actual marriages.
This includes social benefits specified as a household pension or a ceremony allowance.
This is simply a very applicable manifestation of disassembling the institution of marriage! In this case, the same privileges will be granted to both couples inherently incapable to conceive and spouses bringing into the planet and raising another generation of Poles.
And this – to put it plainly – discrimination against matrimony is seen by Poles.
Recent data from IBRIS studies show a clear gap between declarations and a real social approach. Although many Poles (even 62%) talk of acceptance for monosexual unions, these are concrete solutions – specified as granting them full benefits from the Social safety Office – which are clearly opposed. More than half of the respondents (50.5%) are against it, and up to 40.8% declares strong objection.
So it is clear that over the years Poles have managed to impose any ideological framework of thinking. However, erstwhile this ideology begins to truly affect our lives, many of us look at these proposals much more critically.
But that's not all.
There is something that should concern us even more: the Left already announces that the next step will be the legalisation of alleged partnerships.
And this clearly shows the increasing tension between political direction and social sentiment. In the absence of clear support, there is simply a temptation among politicians to make changes through the back door, through administrative decisions, "guidelines" or interpretations of laws, alternatively of clear legislation.
This mode of action makes key changes take place outside the full public awareness.
This has all been in a coherent image for a long time.
Step by step, without public participation and consent, a fresh social order is being introduced in Poland, based straight on the main assumptions of the leftist cultural revolution.
Except that this progressive “order” is actually a colossal on clay legs, incapable in practice to bear the challenges of reality.
What if that's what this is about?
It is becoming clearer that we are not dealing with single, disconnected decisions, but with a wider process in which, by the hands of national politicians, the directions set by global impact centres are being pursued. Their common denominator is the gradual deconstruction of a household understood as a permanent relation between a female and a man.
And it's not a insignificant cosmetic change. It's hitting the foundation.
Because the decline in the importance of matrimony has very concrete consequences.
Deepening the demographic crisis – little unchangeable relationships mean little security, and without it less and less people decide on children. As a result, the state loses its most valuable resource: people. less children are not only a problem of statistics, but a real weakening of the improvement potential, the economical possible and, in the long term, the defence capacity.
Social impacts are no little serious. More unstable relationships are more broken families, and thus generations of people burdened with the experience of breaking up the closest ties. This weakens not only individuals, but full communities.
As a result, society becomes weaker – little numerous, little rooted, little able to act together. It turns into a collective of individuals that are more hard to build lasting bonds, take work and think in terms of the common good.
And that means not only a household crisis, but a state crisis.
I believe you realize the importance of these processes. And that, like me, you do not agree to this direction of improvement – or rather: rolling – our Homeland.
We have frequently written to you that we do not stay passive in the face of these challenges:
- We protest the removal of the words "woman" and "man" from authoritative documents. Page I'm getting married. You will find a petition to Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski, in which we call for the withdrawal of the provisions governing the constitutional protection of matrimony as a union between a female and a man. It has already been signed by 17,000 people – if you have not yet done so, delight sign and forward this initiative.
- We besides attach large importance to the certificate and formation: We advance the values of marriage during Marches for Life and Family and initiatives specified as “Time for Love”, creating a space for discussion and reflection, we besides organize in subsequent cities screenings of our movie “And that I will not leave you”.
- We're working on it. creating a portal dedicated to matrimony in its entirety – as a permanent, faithful and liable relation between a female and a man. We want this to be a place of real support and formation, as well as a space that will show that matrimony is not a restriction, but a way to mature love and unchangeable life.
- We are taking part in media debatesDuring which our experts clearly indicate the consequences of changes affecting the institution of marriage.
We believe that this is what truly shapes attitudes and can halt the process of weakening marriage.
There are very circumstantial costs behind each of our actions. Organization of marches and events, preparation of information materials, printing posters, production of gadgets, promotion of initiatives or maintenance of websites – all of this requires constant financial expenditure. In addition, there is the cost of the team's work, which all day plans, coordinates and implements our activities.
Your aid is crucial to us. It is through her that we can act consistently, respond to the current challenges and effectively defy the changes that hit the constitutional protection of matrimony and the future of this fundamental institution.
I support actions to defend marriage
The actions taken present by the government are neither accidental nor detached from the wider plan.
Subsequent draft laws, judgments altering authoritative practice or attempts to redefine concepts form a coherent strategy – gradual weakening of the institution of marriage.
And this is increasingly happening without a clear statutory basis, bringing legal chaos and de facto Unfair practices.
This is an effort to push the changes through the back door, contrary to the caution that a large part of society has shown in this case. Suffice to say that it is hard to find even uniform support for these projects within the governing coalition.
I have no uncertainty that this forced tolerance is the consequence of external pressures and ideological demands that do not take into account the long-term interests of our country.
More – they are directed straight against them.
The origin of these actions is not just a dispute over individual provisions or definitions. Much more is at stake – the gradual undermining of the social order based on matrimony and family. Attempts to introduce judicial judgments and administrative decisions of pseudomarital marriages for same-sex couples and align them in rights with matrimony based on a lasting relation between a female and a man are not an end in itself, but a further step towards weakening the foundations on which our social life is based.
That is why it is so crucial that this trial is not conducted in silence and without objection!
