It was an evening of excitement. During the 4th edition of the MMA Military Gala “We have a fight in our blood” the ninth Polish Army champions were selected in a fight in close contact. Soldiers besides fought for a valuable trophy – the master belt of the Minister of National Defence. In the fight of the evening, peculiar Officer Wojciech Ozhga of the 18th Mechanized Division defeated Wier. Paweł Jakubowski of 16th DZ.
Organizers of the event – 16th Mechanized Division – set an octagon in the amphitheater in Ostróda on Lake Drwęcki. Sympathic mixed martial arts saw 10 attractive duels. Most of them resolved after 3 breathtaking rounds. The over five-hour event ended the evening's fight, which they faced in the weight category up to 85 kg of the host range. Paweł Jakubowski and Maj. Following the ceremony of the end of the evening fight, Colonel Krzysztof Rybczyński of the General Staff of the Polish Army addressed General Ziółkowski with the words of appreciation as a professional organization of the 4th edition of the Military MMA Gala "We have a fight in our blood” and the undertaking of the 16th Mechanized Division to conduct 4 Polish Army Championships this year. Mr Płk Rybczyński on behalf of the Head of SGWP gene. Wiesława Kukuła – in thanks for his commitment and support for the improvement of physical culture in the Armed Forces of Poland – he handed the commander 16 DZ a commemorative gutter. Gen. Finally, in 2 finals without the participation of soldiers 12 DZ master belts won: the said winner of the fight of the evening st. s. special.
