They remembered Volyn

On Sunday morning at the Embassy of Ukraine on Szucha Avenue, a picket was held reminding of the murdered Poles in Volyn and all east Małopolska. about 300 people took part in the demonstration, and the main coordinator was Krzysztof Tołwiński (Front).

The event was attended by representatives of delegates of many political organizations and communities, including: Polish thought Clubs, National Party, Polish Anti-War Committee, National Association of Farmers, Circles and Agricultural Organisations, Stow. erstwhile Members of Self-defense Andrzej Lepper were present. Among the speakers were Krzysztof Tołwiński (Front), Władysław Serafin (KZRKiOR), Wojciech Mojzesowicz, Mateusz Piskorski (Myśl Polska), Ronald Dubowski (SSPKIIWŚ), Andrzej Poneta (WGO), Leszek Sykulski (PRA), Henryk Miketyn (PRL) and Jadwiga Sokołowski (SN).

Dr. Matthew Piskorski, who stressed that our enemy is not the Ukrainian people, deserves peculiar attention. He argued that the place of honest Ukrainians was at this demonstration – opposition to war, flagism, and chauvinism. This is in the interests of the Ukrainian people. The demonstration was attended by a Ukrainian who came to our country and is simply a declared opponent of flagism. However, due to his safety, he wanted to stay anonymous. Participation in this demonstration is simply a large act of courage on his part.

The silently announced counter-demonstration proved to be a five-person picket with a password on the carton. But I'm glad it happened. This allowed these young Ukrainians to perceive to bitter words of fact about their ancestors – about the crimes done by the UPA band, the 14th Waffen SS-Galizien Division and the senseless fat in Volyn.
Under the embassy, shoes were laid that symbolized the murdered in the massacre carried out in Volyn from 1939 to 1947. Especially those children were very impressive.
