The 2 large absent from Friday's debate (or actually 2 debates) in Koński are organization candidate Together, Adrian Zandberg, and Sławomir Mentzen of the Confederate. The first did not appear in the celebrated village in Świętokrzyski – where it is said that “elections are won” – due to a gathering with president Andrzej Duda, whom he convinced to veto a bill lowering the wellness contribution. The second refused to cancel scheduled meetings with voters. They both called Friday's event "the circus".
Two competitive debates were held in Konski, not for the first time. The first organized Rafał Trzaskowski's staff, and it was broadcast by all major televisions, including Polsat, TVN and TVP. There has been quite a few controversy around the latter's participation in the event, as – as a public station – it should not favour only 2 presidential candidates.
This is what the debate, organised by the staff of the president of Warsaw, was originally expected to be one-on-one with a candidate supported by the Law and Justice, Karol Nawrocki. Eventually, another candidates were besides invited to the debate... little than 2 hours before her launch.
In the meantime, a separate debate was organised by right-wing private tv – tv Republic and Poland24. The event had an open format, so all staffs were invited to it. any candidates responded to the invitation, appearing on phase in front of the audience there.
Later, the candidates went a fewer 100 metres further to complete attendance at the debate by Rafał Trzaskowski. His main rival Karol Nawrocki besides appeared there.
Mentzen and Zandberg are talking about "the circus" in the context of Friday's debate. “The treatment of people as idiots”
Both debates did not include Adrian Zandberg (Together) and Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation). The first was incapable to scope Koński due to the gathering with president Andrzej Duda, and the second – he preferred to meet voters in Podkarpacie, among others in the Lower Injections.
"This is what treating people like idiots looks like. Breaking run backing rules and excluding uncomfortable opponents from the debate," commented Mentzen, besides invited to the debate in Koński, but at the last minute. "Belarusian standards alternatively of a average debate", he added.
In the next entry, the Confederate candidate stated that "the last day's patodebate clearly shows what kind of circus we live in, how mediocre our state is."
Adrian Zandberg spoke of the event in a akin tone. "Mr Trzaskowski, who is organizing a bill in Konski, informed 90 minutes before the event of his committee, that this would now be the debate of all presidential candidates. Do you realize that? For 90 minutes, he invites you warmly... If it is not a farce, what is it?” he asked in a video made available on Instagram.
"And it is, of course, pathetic that another candidates of government parties have already lined up there, who number that Trzaskowski will let them on phase and let them to warm up in his radiance. I am not going to participate in this circus, besides due to the fact that it is most likely against Polish law, electoral law," Zandberg signed.
