Police explain the circumstances of the attack on a group of PO activists, including Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, which occurred on Tuesday morning at the marketplace in Sokoła (Podlaskie province). They were agitating there for the KO candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski.
On Tuesday, PO activists as part of the "Citizens Forward" action visit the towns in Podlasek, where they encourage to vote for Rafał Trzaskowski in the upcoming elections.
The tour began at the marketplace square in Falcons, where Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski and another PO activists gave leaflets and encouraged by megaphone to vote for Trzaskowski.
"The squad with Senator Kwiatkowski gave out flyers to Rafał Trzaskowski and they were verbally and physically assaulted by any people who were there. It looked weak, nobody was hurt" - said Mr Krzysztof Truskolaski, PO president in Podlasek. He added that One individual was hit in the face with an egg.
Attacking the Senator

The case has been reported to the police. According to PAP spokesperson for Podlasie police Tomasz Krupa, police conduct on-site activities, identify the persons who attacked the senator and another people. Krupa said that it was besides being investigated whether there was only insult or a violation of physical immunity. The police have recordings, and they collect witness reports.
