The vote in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the appointment of a fresh defence minister, planned for today, has been postponed. The reason is said to be the deficiency of adequate support for Ihor Klymenko's candidacy. Tension is increasing in president Volodymyr Zelensky's camp after the decision to resign Mykhailo Fedorov, and any MPs are signalling that they will not support the proposed change in the position of the head of the defence ministry.
