Now the government has plans to reinstate compulsory military service for men aged 18-30, marking a crucial shift in the country's defence policy. The move, supported by a fresh draft law, aims to strengthen the armed forces and guarantee national security, while besides offering financial benefits and alternate forms of service for conscripts.
