Renaissance talar of Saxon princes discovered close Dunev!!!
There are specified discoveries that take breath away, the more they are made under the least anticipated circumstances. This was besides the case in the area of Dunev, in the Świerzno Municipality. 1 day a farmer contacted the members of the St. Cordula Association, who owns 1 of the fields around the village, asking for aid due to the fact that during the agricultural work he lost his skirmishes. Members of the Association, who have repeatedly supported the various initiatives of the people of our region and this time have decided to aid and find the lost part by the farmer. During the search of the field, which was their surprise, erstwhile at a depth of about 10 cm Mr Jacek Ukowski – president of the St. Kordula Association, who frequently proved that he was highly fortunate to discover valuable monuments (i.e., he was the only 1 in Poland to twice discovered medieval Papal bulls) found a large silver coin. At first glance, it was not just a discovery. The coin weighing 27.33 grams and a diameter of 4 cm is truly impressive!!! In 1 of the pictures provided under the article, we see the proportions between the silver talar and the golden ducat from the Netherlands. Among the explorers themselves, as well as the another crew members, there was incredible joy. Despite quite a few experience, they have never seen a coin like this in their lives.
The coin was, of course, transferred to the Museum of the past of Kamiensk Land, where it was subjected to careful analysis. It turned out that it was a Renaissance talar, minted by the brothers – co-registers of the Duchy of Saxony. An highly uncommon numisism, which from time to time can only be encountered on net auctions.
Description of coin:
On both sides of the coin dominate the iconographs of co-regents who co-ordinated after the death of John Wilhelm's father from 1575 to 1603. The first is Prince Frederick Wilhelm I (Friedrich Wilhelm), the second Duke John II (Johann). Both characters are presented from the waist up. They wear parade armor, they hold pine cones adorned with feathers, as well as swords. Both princes on the neck wear a large collar, the alleged crisis - typical of the late Renaissance era and a advanced social status. Both characters are very well scratched, you can see the accuracy of carefulness in the performance of the character and care for all small detail.
In the vicinity of both princes we have titular inscriptions and coat of arms.
Obverses: There is simply a inscription and coat of arms of Saxony in the ringing of Prince Frederick Wilhelm I.

Coin dimensions:

- thickness 2.5 mm
- weight 27.33 grams
As always, there is simply a question to which we may no longer find answers. Who and under what circumstances lost that coin? close was an old way and 2 tiny ponds. possibly individual stopped to drink the horses and then she was lost. But that's just our theory. The most crucial thing is that this precious monument has come to our institution, in fact, thanks to many coincidences. On behalf of the Museum, I would like to thank Mr. Jack for transferring this precious coin to MHZK.

Could there be a wreck of a planet War II German plane in the land under Chojnica? In a couple of days, they'll be looking for it from the Tuchol Society.
We plan to extract a plane that crashed 1945 on the eve of the liberation of Chojnic, or 13 February. We've received word that this plane is out there somewhere. We've searched the German archives and found that actually that day the plane was missing in the Chojnic area, the German one, and we're going to dig it out, look for it.
This is Weekend FM Ireneusz Swede from the Tucholski Exploration Association "Ostroga".
And the news of the wreckage, which is expected to remainder in the ground after an aerial skirmish, is part of a household message from 1 of the families in the Chojnice municipality.
This is from the stories of the older people here who survived the war and said that in 1945 the plane fell down, was shot down. It was not known what kind of aircraft it was, what kind of production it was. As the front approached, people fled. They weren't certain what the plane was either. From the stories his father told, he said that erstwhile he fell into the ground, it was just an engine, a cabin, and wings, the tail fell off.
This is Weekend FM Mariusz Łangowski.
Due to the safety of the planned action and at the request of the organizers, we do not specify the exact date and location of the search.

Charles III is getting better. The King doesn't quit his plans.
Buckingham Palace prepares that from the end of April King Charles III will participate more frequently in public events, suggesting that the treatment of the cancer found in him is successful - said Sky News station.
Since Buckingham Palace reported in early February that a 75-year-old monarch had been diagnosed with cancer, Charles III occasionally appears publically and does not participate in public events as recommended by doctors. The only exception was the Easter Sunday Mass in Windsor, after which he went out to the gathered people, shaking their hands and talking to them.
The King continues to execute his duties and accepts various people at Buckingham Palace - e.g. Tuesday at the audience was the politician of the Bank of England Andrew Bailey, who handed him fresh banknotes with his image that would enter into circulation in June.
Sky News reported that Buckingham Palace is preparing that in late April and May Charles III will participate in public events involving more people. The station points out that this is not to be understood as confirming the monarch's participation in conventional large events specified as Trooping the Colour (a military parade on the occasion of the monarch's birthday) or in summertime parties at Buckingham Palace gardens, but suggests that the treatment is successful.
This is besides pointed out by the paper "The Sun" last Friday that the plans for the two-week journey of the monarch in October to Australia, fresh Zealand and the summit of the heads of the Commonwealth of Nations to Samoa are up-to-date, and the king recommended intensifying preparations for the journey.
