"There are no grounds." Romanowski's defence lawyer announces his next move

Bartosz Lewandowski, the lawyer representing Marcin Romanowski, the erstwhile deputy head of the Ministry of Justice, confirmed that his client had filed a request for a letter of safe conduct and a declaration of residence outside the European Union. Earlier, it was reported that a letter from Tiraspol in Transnistria had arrived at the Regional Court in Warsaw.
