- I'm sorry. At the outset, we reminded soldiers about 3 key elements of saving lives, that is primarily about their own safety, about blood and breathing – due to the fact that they are the fastest killing on the battlefield. From the beginning of the course, soldiers have been practicing in combat, in full care, to better realize certain traffic restrictions and to reduce mobility resulting from their work in moving equipment. This allowed them to destruct bad habits and better realize the conditions under which they would act. – said 1 of the instructors of the 51st Light Infantry Battalion 5MBOT.
During the training, practically all elements of the military acronym of the SMARCH protocol were discussed and rehearsed – i.e. the injury assessment. The students improved cognition and skills from a number of issues ranging from tactical assessment by self-help, consequence to massive haemorrhages, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, pulmonary pneumonosis or hypothermia, to preparation of the injured 1 for medical evacuation.
In addition, the territorialists learned how to supply assistance to the injured, utilizing not only equipment contained in the individual medical package of each soldier – IPMED, but besides utilizing unconventional methods and means to give the victim time to arrive with qualified medical personnel.
One of the participants of the course was wide. Ewa. In 5 MBOT serves more than half a year, all day works in Warsaw hospitals: Brodnowski and Bielański.
- I'm sorry. I'm a nurse, but I've never dealt with field medicine. They are 2 different worlds. We have more equipment in the ward and a completely different patient profile. It is equipped and prepared for further diagnosis. In the military, we are the first people to assist the injured straight from the battlefield, with limited resources in a tiny sachet. I'm evaluating the course very well, we've raised an incredible amount of cognition from it, and I already know that I want to dig it in. said the general. Eve
WOT soldiers share military life with civilian life. Therefore, their cognition of training and courses can prove to be invaluable in helping the local community.
- I'm sorry. If they witness, for example, traffic accidents, accidents, their skills will let for a appropriate response. Military procedures are little delicate than civilian procedures, but in rule they search the same thing, that is, to gain additional time for the victim. If the injury mechanics is consistent with those most common in combat situations, the trained individual will be able to help. – the 51blp teacher spouted.
