The withdrawal of the A-10 is getting closer, but what next?

The home Air and Land Forces Subcommittee has unveiled a plan for the bill to phase out 42 A-10 aircraft and 57 F-15C/D aircraft in fiscal year 2024, the Air and Space Forces said. Now the task awaits a vote and amendments and a further approval process. Are planes waiting for a junkyard or a second life?
