The West must start learning lessons from past [OPINION]

Soon it will be 2 years since the full-scale war in Ukraine began. This is an event that is and will be material for investigation and analysis in the field of military science, the arms industry, innovation and ingenuity on the battlefield. At the same time, the purely political and historical sphere is equally crucial here. Yes, historical, due to the fact that certain patterns that already took place in a different form in the 20th or even 19th century are present on the front in east Ukraine. Not only there, but besides in the geopolitical puzzle itself. 1 could even go as far as to say that the conventional West has inactive not learned the lesson in many respects from history, which is comparatively well known and should be studied on an ongoing basis.
