The West has caved in to Russia; there has been no firm response. Gen. Gromadziński in “NZZ”

The relation between Western countries and Russia continues to be characterized by weakness, a deficiency of firmness, and a deficiency of consistent communication directed specifically at the Russian public—according to the president of the defence Institute, Lt. Gen. (ret.) Jarosław Gromadziński, in an interview with Pauli Flückiger for the Swiss regular “NZZ am Sonntag.” He emphasizes, however, that Moscow lacks the resources to wage an open war against NATO.
