On 5 September, at the global Defence manufacture Exhibition (MSPO), the manager of the Veteran Centre, Colonel Dr. Katarzyna Rałowska signed a cooperation agreement with the GROM Foundation. Strength and Honor, represented by the president of the Management Board – Ms Agnieszka Petelicka. This is another agreement concerning cooperation for veterans, concluded by the Veteran Centre at this year's Fair.
Activities for veterans are a mission which is carried out by the Centre for Veteran Activities outside the State Borders. On September 5, during the ongoing global Defence manufacture Salon, the Veteran Centre signed an agreement with the GROM Foundation. Power and Honor. The main nonsubjective of the cooperation initiated is to advance cognition about military missions and operations outside the state, to cherish the memory of soldiers and military workers who have lost their lives during these activities, and to advance the spirit of brotherhood, common mutual assistance and care for veterans.
Within the framework of the agreement concluded, both parties undertook, inter alia:
- popularising cognition of military missions and operations – The Foundation and the Centre will actively advance cognition of missions abroad and organise events to rise public awareness of the challenges that veterans face today;
- nurturing the memory of fallen soldiers – both institutions have undertaken to jointly organize projects to commemorate soldiers who have lost their lives in missions outside the state, and those whose death was the consequence of specified operations;
- support for veterans – both the Centre and the Foundation will initiate projects aimed at supporting veterans. The Foundation undertook, among others, to take action in the field of the organisation of projects aimed at rehabilitation and recovery of veterans and their professional activation, inter alia, by participating in the reimbursement of costs of acquiring fresh professional qualifications. Whereas the Centre has committed itself to initiating projects dedicated to veterans;
- promoting the spirit of fraternity – the Centre and the Foundation have committed themselves to joint organisation of cultural and educational and sports-recreation projects, as well as joint activities for the integration of veterans and their families.
During the signing of the agreement, the Colonel Dr. Katarzyna Rałędowska, manager of the Veteran Centre, stressed: – Signing the agreement with the GROM Foundation. Strength and Honor are an highly crucial step for us in further strengthening the position of veterans in Poland. We believe that thanks to this cooperation we will not only implement many valuable projects for veterans, but besides contribute to spreading cognition about their function and activities.
President of the Foundation's Management Board, Agnieszka Petelicka, added that - Supporting veterans is our civic duty. We besides want to advance the patriotic attitude of veterans among the young generation to strengthen their national identity, which is crucial for the future of Poland.
Agreement signed with the GROM Foundation. Strength and Honor are yet another cooperation aimed at working for veterans in Poland. This shows that the subject is up-to-date and socially important.

The Veterans Centre for Activities outside the State Borders – serves as a centre where veterans of activities outside the state, as well as families of soldiers and military personnel who have died during these activities, receive assistance, advice and consult, in peculiar legal and psychological, on the possibilities of solving their problems. The Centre besides promotes the integration of veterans' environment around joint ventures and initiatives.
