The U.S. Air Force Department contracted the transportation of the first 2 E-7A Wedgetail aircraft, selected by U.S. Air Force to win the celebrated E-3 Sentry. The value of the contract is $1.2 billion. Production is due to begin in 2025. At least 26 machines of this kind are planned to be acquired.
