The US Air Force chose a successor to the E-3 Sentry. The AWACS radar plate will vanish [COMMENT]

The U.S. Air Force Deparatament contracted to Boeing to supply the first 2 E-7A Wedgetail aircraft, selected by the U.S. Air Force as the successor to the celebrated E-3 Sentry. The value of the contract is $1.2 billion. Production is scheduled to start in 2025. It is planned to get at least 26 machines of this type.
